On Thursday 24th March 2011 nine members gathered together at Mavis' house.
Our topic this month was 'My First Car.'
We had a wonderfully diverse and inventive selection of stories as usual:
From a 'Baby' Austin 7 to a tearing toad; from Primrose to a Silver Cross; from A Morris Minor to the 'joy of riding'; from a 1929 Morris Cowley to a 1937 Austin 7 and then to a Morris 1000 van.
It was nostalgic fun re-living the joy of motoring in a previous age and the discussions went on for ages. It was truly a fun meeting!
