Writing for Fun

December 2010

On Thursday 16th December 2010 eight members gathered together at Mavis' house. Our topic this month was 'A Christmas Tale.'
We had a wonderful selection of stories as usual:
We experienced the perils of the Office Christmas Party and had an Austian teddy bear's view of the outside world; a strange 'onion' seller and a sneaky seamstress; a lovely Alan Bennett style monologue and a spooky old house; a waif's pursuit of comfort and Yuletide without the 'demon drink'; a mysterious clifftop house and footsteps in the snow - not forgetting a Winter Poem.
Throw in a glass of wine and a mince pie and it was yet another enjoyable Writing for Fun session.
