Leaving school in 1962, first job, jiving at youth clubs, bouffant hairdo’s and wearing winkle-pickers whilst spinning in our flared skirts and can-can petticoats, the excitement of a beau’s motorbike.
Becoming a Mod and riding on a Lambretta scooter, flick-ups like Kathy Kirby’s and loving Elvis Presley and Billy Fury.
