Visitors From Space (Acrostic)- Diane Silverston

Vibrant flashing streaks of colour,
Interspersed with sparkling stars,
Scattered amongst the orbiting planets,
In the darkened scene.
The mystery of unknown worlds,
Other beings from our solar system.
Red lights breaking into the darkness,
Silver spaceship moving ever nearer.

Forging a way across outer space,
Revolving and rotating,
Onwards towards Earth,
Making its entry through the atmosphere.

Settling down on a verdant hillside.
Proud and formidable people,
Alien in our eyes,
Clustered together, curiously.
Endeavouring to understand these human giants.
